About Us

This is a group for garden lovers and pollinator promoters in Irving.

The Butterfly Garden is divided into 10 beds, three of which have been seeded for wildflowers. The garden includes carefully selected host plants and trees to attract Tiger Swallowtail and Monarch butterflies. Various nectar plants can also be found to support native bees and other important pollinators.

In time, we hope to restore the Butterfly Garden to its former glory and upgrade it into a learning resource for those interested in biodiversity, gardening, preservation and nature in general.

Additionally, we seek to:

1. Encourage activities that help native pollinators

2. Support existing gardens

3. Promote the addition of new gardens and botanical features for public spaces in Irving

We look forward to your ideas and whatever support you can offer!

Feel free to contact us for suggestions and / or donate.
