Create a snapshot of local wildlife. Work alongside recreation staff and volunteers to benefit local pollinators essential to our ecosystem. Participants can use the iNaturalist app to take photos of plants and wildlife and also visit Irving's Butterfly Garden.

Eco-Tourism Parks for PollinatorsSaturday, September 9, 2023
In celebration of pollinators, attend this event to create a snapshot of the variety of local wildlife. Work alongside recreation staff and volunteers to advance the health of local pollinators, which are essential to our ecosystem.
Participants will use an app called iNaturalist to take pictures of plants, insects and animals; see what wildlife is present on this day; and contribute to a scientific inventory of pollinator species. Participants can also visit the City of Irving Butterfly Garden while on their walk.
