About the event
From Texas Parks and Wildlife:
It’s a pouf! It’s a fluff ball! It’s a feathery orb! No, it’s a bird that is very ready for the winter weather!
The birds have migrated south, and they are here to stay as we dip into cooler temperatures. Join us with Texas Master Naturalist and Park Volunteer, Caleb Hinojos, as we search for the birds, fluffier and rounder than usual, that have chosen Cedar Hill State Park as their winter home.
Registration is required: Go online to Reserve America to make your reservation for this program.
When: Saturday, February 11th, 2023 from 7:30am-9:00am
Where: Talala Trailhead
Bring: Water, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
